Emerson Center is supported, in part, by "subscribers" --faculty members, research groups, or academic departments that purchase shares in order to gain access to its resources for their research projects. Currently, there are eleven subscribers, including faculty members as well as department subscriptions of Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and Math & Computer Science departments.

The Emerson Center now offers an introductory subscription of $1500 per year. This low-cost introductory includes access to all EC research resources, both hardware and software, except for the privilege of hosting scientific fellows.
